Dalton’s Precision Machine is a company operated by Doug Wolcott, an individual with a diverse background.  His experience began over 30 years ago as an apprentice in his  father’s machine shop.  Working side by side with him, his father taught him the skills of the trade, as well as a strong work ethic and a passion for perfection.  After many years in the family business, he branched out on his own to start his own company.  His love for racing asphalt modifieds at a local track helped him to create a highly regarded speed shop.  His expertise in this field was respected and helped him to operate this successful business for many years.  However, his dream of working in the elite Nascar field was too strong to ignore.  He sold his business and moved his family to NC with the goal of becoming a Nascar crew chief.  He quickly grew in the ranks and realized his dream as a crew chief in the Nascar Truck Series.

After 8 successful years in this environment, the call to spend more time with family changed his focus.  He then returned to his roots and opened Daltons Precision Machine, named after his son.  This is a modern machine shop based on old-fashioned values: commitment, responsibility, dependability, and honesty.  While his services are primarily accomplished through precision metal machining and other associated processes, Doug’s team has the capability to offer design, procurement, logistics, assembly, order management and fulfillment, and anything else a client would need to bring their product to market.  They pride themselves on clear communication in the planning phases, honest pricing, creative solutions, and perhaps most importantly, quality parts delivered on time.
